Wonderful cabin with beautiful view. Perfect for large families.

This house met our need for bedroom ,bathroom, and kitchen space. The setting was lovely and the vaulted ceilings gave us a real cabin feeling. We thoroughly enjoyed the decks. The Christmas trees and decor were a nice touch. We were able to seat everyone at the 2 tables but the seats were not ideal. There were amenities that were missing that should be attended to. The pantry should have been empty to make room for food for 15 people. There was no broom. There were maybe 5 small spoons, not nearly enough to accommodate children. Skillet w/o a handle ? No bath mats. The wall beside the door inside the mbr on the right has stains of some sort. The entry level bathroom on the left needs shower head repaired. The king mattress on the entry level right bedroom was saggy & not comfortable.. The scratched floor in the living area was not something I appreciated for the amount we paid. You could possibly switch out the lower level couch and move it upstairs as the one upstairs was beginning to show age and rips. This home certainly accommodated our needs but definitely needs some TLC.

This cabin is beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. I would highly recommend!

Spent a week at Thanksgiving here with my large family, and had a wonderful time building memories. I live near Indianapolis (7 hrs North) and most of my family lives in Central Mississippi (7 hours South), so it was the perfect central location for meeting up! The house is very adequately equipped with 8 spacious bedrooms/8 bathrooms, 2 hot tubs, 3 decks, very roomy common areas (living room + game room), and a true double kitchen with two of all appliances. We had over 20 adults and kids in the house, and never felt like we were stumbling over one another. The BONUS was the visits at the house from the local black bears! These beautiful creatures visited daily, sometimes more than once. We heeded all of the warnings about keeping car doors locked, keeping the house doors/windows closed & locked, keeping the outdoor trash bins locked, not leaving food or wrappers in vehicles or on decks, keeping our distance, and were able to safely watch them. We will definitely be visiting again!

This was a family trip with five of our children, two of our sons’ spouses and seven of our grandchildren, a total of 16 people. There was plenty of space for the times we were all together eating, playing games, watching movies, or wanting to slip away for a little quiet solitude. The two refrigerators and ovens came in really handy. The property is well cared for, has an amazing view, and daily trash and recycling pick up, which was awesome for us! It was a 30 minute drive from hiking as well as 20 minutes away from a nice looped hiking trail for our littles. Plenty of shops, activities, groceries, and restaurants are close as well. The pool table, arcade games, and hot tubs made it so we could enjoy our time in the cabin easily on the days we wanted to stay in. We’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
