Starr Buck Lodge

We had 13 ppl stay at Buck Starr Lodge in Pigeon Forge, TN. The home was perfect. It was well stocked with small and large appliances, utensils, and paper products. The beds were comfortable and the location was central to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Finally, the Buckhead Rental staff and owner were great communicators and quickly answered all questions.

Starr Buck Lodge was a very nice cabin with wonderful views and the pool was so relaxing. The cabin was meticulously clean and well stocked with necessary items, as described. The only suggestion is to replace the living room furniture with more appropriate seating for such a large cabin. We loved our stay and recommend Buckhead Rentals.

The cabin location with the views were spectacular with three levels of decking on the cabin. The location of the cabin was perfect for the activities we had planned. Everything was close by. The cabin can accompany 24 people. We were 13 and it felt a little crowded on occasion. Parking was ample which accommodated 5 cars, any more would not have fit. There were some housekeeping items that could have been corrected prior to our arrival. The hot tub was dirty. No one wanted to access it. The king bedroom on the 2nd level had a clogged sink causing the occupant to have to use another bathroom when using the sink. The shower had mold around the door. The king bedroom on the main level was very warm as was the main floor. The AC was not working correctly in order to cool the level. I really am surprised that we had to pay $500 for a cleaning fee, when the items listed above were not cleaned before occupancy. Don't get me wrong, the house was cleaned but could have used a little more elbow grease when cleaning the showers and hot tub. In addition, how did the sink get cleaned in the 2nd level king room when the water was unable to go down the drain? In addition, a security deposit of $650 that is not refundable? How is that....maybe you should rename that since it's not a deposit. That should be refunded, since we left the cabin in great shape when we departed on September 27, 2025. All in all, we all had a great time. The location of the cabin made it all worthwhile.

We loved the house! It was very clean! There were 12 of us 6 were kids from 14 to 9. We spent most of our time on the decks admiring the views! Close enough to all the activities in the surrounding areas. We had a great stay!

Amazing time, great responsive host and a view and location that cannot be beat. Highly recommend!
